Salute has appointed Heather Crook as Chief Financial Transformation Officer and welcomed Grant Nelson, CPA as its first-ever Global Controller, reinforcing its finance leadership as the business continues to scale globally.
Together these roles reflect Salute’s commitment to building the financial infrastructure and operational discipline needed to support long-term global growth.
Strengthening Financial Transformation and Scalable Systems
Heather Crook brings more than a decade of experience in finance and controllership, with deep expertise in revenue accounting, audit leadership, and cross-functional process improvement.
Having served as Salute’s Interim Chief Accounting Officer, Heather has consistently demonstrated an ability to translate complexity into practical, scalable outcomes.
As Chief Financial Transformation Officer, Heather will lead Salute’s global finance function with a focus on building scalable systems, strengthening financial discipline, and enabling long-term growth. Her leadership philosophy – centred on making work easier for the people around her, removing friction, and building processes that truly support teams – will be central to how Salute’s finance function evolves
Establishing Global Accounting Rigour and Consistency
Grant Nelson, CPA joins Salute with more than 15 years of international accounting and finance leadership experience across high-growth and private equity-backed organisations.
Most recently, he served as Global Controller at E Productivity Software, where he led global accounting operations across multiple regions, supported M&A integrations, and significantly improved the speed and quality of financial reporting.
As Salute’s first Global Controller, Grant will be responsible for leading global accounting operations, strengthening close and reporting processes, and ensuring consistency and rigour across regions as Salute’s footprint continues to expand. He will work closely with Heather and the broader finance leadership team to bring structure and visibility to how the organisation operates worldwide.
Beyond his professional background, Grant serves on the Finance Committee for the Children’s Network of Hillsborough and is President and Treasurer of the University of Kentucky Alumni Tampa Chapter – a reflection of his commitment to mentorship and community.
