About the project

A leading provider of technology solutions to the education and public sector, chose Salute, the data centre centre specialists, to undertake a critical upgrade at its HQ, that is also its Technology Manufacturing Hub and Fully Secure ITAD Facility. The upgrade, designed to provide increased resilience, was successfully completed in live data centre, working around live infrastructure, without any disruption.

Salute delivered a live upgrade project that focussed on protecting the critical IT assets and essential services run from the data centre. This included a new gaseous fire suppression and highly sensitive smoke detection system. As this is a sensitive, secure facility with onsite technology manufacturing and disposal, Salute had the relevant security credentials to deliver a complete managed service including full project management, supervision, RIBA led design and integration.
